The Financial Education Services (FES) is an organization whose founding mission is to provide free educational resources to the public. Founded as a result of an urgent need to enhance personal financial literacy, FES has helped hundreds of individuals become more fiscally fit by understanding financial hurdles that they encounter in their everyday lives. Managing a speaking team of local industry experts, FES gains a commitment from these professionals to contribute their time and expertise to conduct financial workshops in companies (lunch and learn), churches, municipalities, and non-profit organizations at no cost. FES workshops are designed to be informative, entertaining and educational.
Host organizations may benefit from these workshops by creating goodwill and strengthening morale amongst their employees and/or members. The attendees benefit from the knowledge they gain, while the financial experts benefit by having the opportunity to give something back to the local community in which they serve. Although the workshop presenters are industry professionals, FES workshops are presented in a generic 3rd party format, and are not sales events. The purpose of the workshop is to provide valuable financial information to the participants that attend, and no specific products or companies are endorsed.
Over the past few years, FES has provided workshops to a wide variety of organizations in the Greater New England area. FES has also been responsible for providing personal financial education to hundreds of attendees and referrals to a broad spectrum of financially oriented entities.
